Dr. Bess Cameron, radio counselor to the lovelorn, is waiting to finalize her divorce from private investigator John Mystic. Lured to Seascape Inn, a rambling clifftop bed-and-breakfast, by a telepathic on-air caller and the power of a painting. Bess is furious when John appears on the scene.
