In this new bilingual version of the well-known Hans Christian Andersen's tale, an emperor decides he prefers the jeweled mechanical bird created for him to the real nightingale singing so sweetly in his palace. But when the emperor becomes very ill, only the real nightingale can revive the dying ruler with its beautiful song.
