An outlaw, left with the duty of caring for his jailed brother's wife in 1880's Texas, strives to protect her from the dangers of the frontier. She, in turn, brings new understanding and maturity to the reckless young man. As time passes, he finds the greatest danger comes from his heart, as he realizes the love he has for his brother's wife.
