To be successful at playing a game, you have to understand the rules. The same thing is true of writing. Grammar provides the rules needed to become a successful writer. These activities teach "the rules" of grammar by focusing on parts of speech, and three types of sentences: declarative, interrogative, and exclamatory—plus punctuation!
