First Holy Chameleon

Cash Ryan's life is a mess. A property developer has made her homeless, her boyfriend has decided to lead the celibate life, and her big acting break in a TV soap has just fizzled. She gets sympathy and support from Mort Higgins, private investigator and friend, but is devastated one morning to find him dead at his desk with a gunshot wound to his head. The police declare it a suicide, but Cash and Mort's widow Janet think differently. Along with Cash's friend Billie, they embark on a journey to discover the truth. On the way they encounter a healing evangelist, a renegade biker nun, an illegal adoption scam, a host of Hell's Angels, a few close shaves, and plenty of dirty dealing.
