The Extinction Instinct

Science teaches that great epochs begin and end with mass-extinctions. Dinosaurs, mammals, humanity, all rose as the dominant species after a great extinction wiped out competition. Nature changed and certain animals could not adapt. Scientists say, right now, people are causing another mass-extinction. But what if we've misunderstood how this natural cycle works? One day, whales suddenly start ramming and sinking ships at sea. Fruits and vegetables unexpectedly begin making people sick, as if they are poisoned. Animals - large and small - are attacking people. Armies of insects, lizards, animals, birds and reptiles overrun towns, villages, even cities. The cause will change humanity forever and send civilization into chaos.
