Living in Secret with Ptsd a Spouse Perspective

Millions of people are suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Whether you developed it from growing up in an abusive home as a child, or being constantly bullied in school, to living in a city in which violence is so rampant that you live with that fear daily. Perhaps you or a love one came into the military voluntarily or involuntarily. Now the aftermath of a war not only can cause a family to manifest different personality disorders and addictions, to the point that your now dealing with total dysfunction and don't know why. As I came to the end of my career with the military as a civilian, I would sit down and ponder, what was this journey all about. One afternoon while folding clothes with my daughter in-law, she made a comment about the abuse that I went through. At first I became defensive for a split second and then God revealed to me to write about my journey. This book is about how to stay focus, to be steadfast and victorious regardless of your circumstances. This book gives the signs of PTSD and Chemical Dependency and how I kept God the center of my life.
