Angels Unaware

There lives in the minds of almost every boy and girl a memory of love and friendship indelibly etched by a dog. This book is directed to our learning from these parallels and being better able to communicate with our canine friends by understanding them more fully. It is based on a true story and gives helpful suggestions and training tips to assist you with your dog or child. Just as there are obstacles to overcome in dog training, so there is a parallel that can be drawn with learning for troubled youth. Through the course of this story, actual experiences will point to real solutions. One entire chapter is dedicated to canine ailments and how one can identify and treat them. This is not to act as a substituted for professional veterinary care but could be considered a good lesson in dog first aid.

In a new and revealing way, this book seeks to broaden how we see the world in which kids and dogs grow up. It points to instances where we can be of benefit to these two groups and no longer be in the presence of "Angels Unaware."
