Curly, a Survivor's Story, the Breast Is yet to Come

On her 47th birthday, after a very difficult and stressful three months, Joan was performing a self breast exam when she felt a lump in her left breast. Despite a normal mammogram just two months before, she persisted in having a full evaluation. What followed was a journey that would take her through several surgeries, chemotherapy, spiritual reawakening, and culminating in a triumphant completion of the Race for the Cure.
