In 1965, the small town of Bridgehaven, NY, becomes unglued when an itinerant family arrives and sets up a roadside animal attraction. The after-hours girlie show also has townsfolk buzzing.

Nearing his high school graduation, Fenton Bushing becomes obsessed with Georgia Wheeler, the show's only dancer. But the Wheelers are out for more than just admission prices. They target the wealthy, and Fenton is heir to a vast estate. Unaware of Georgia's motives, Fenton invites her to his home where he creates the most outrageous 16mm home movie ever developed by Kodak.

What memento does Georgia steal and how does Fenton plan to get it back? With the help of his counterculture buddies, Fenton must out-maneuver the flim-flamming clan. It all boils down to a frozen monkey, an unwilling Indian, and the youngest member of the Wheeler family.
