Trapper Lake

Trapper Lake, lost in the Minnesota wilderness after old logging roads became obliterated by poplars, alders and birches, was rediscovered by a young biologist doing a study of the ecology of the area. When he learns that most of this unusual lake is included in a tract of land listed in a tax-sale announcement, he buys the land. Long after he is dead and his land is passed on to his descendents, Trapper Lake, still remote, becomes the scene of an unusual drama.
