The Peace Prescription

The Peace Prescription tells how everyone at the grass roots can help take the five steps needed to prevent wars. If we wait for governments, political leaders, and international organizations to achieve peace, we will simply be waiting forever while wars rage on and on. Physician/author Edward Marshall describes the serious advocacy and initiation of violence as the most awful of all behavioral disorders. When the vast majority of us, who prefer peace, gain control over this behavior, we will have established a worldwide peace maintenance environment. One of those key five steps needed to prevent wars is the enforcement worldwide of Dr. Marshall's "Peace Law", which makes the serious advocacy or initiation of violence illegal. The five steps comprise an immunization of the world against war, but as with any vaccine, it has to be taken to be effective. Let's take those five steps!
