ET is not what we expected! The elusive but expanding alien presence in our solar system at the beginning of the twenty-second century hints at an unimaginable power, capable of obliterating all life on Earth. Still those who report close encounters uniformly describe a mysterious tranquility in the interstellar visitors that denies any agenda of evil. But growing awareness of ET’s presence has, by itself, unsettled the collective mind of humanity and brewed a storm of conflicting reactions among the prevailing cultures of Earth. It’s at this critical moment that Ernie Grace and Tanya Andrekov-Sanchez, children of powerful but opposing international leaders, are thrown together as a two-person Mars exploration team. During a routine reconnaissance they have a chance encounter with the aliens that diverts the course of their lives down a never imagined channel.
