This Christian 17th Century historical novel was written by Teresa Farris-Dacar, an historian who specializes in The Early Colonial Period. The novel features adventure, intrigue, treason, and...love amongst the English Royalist families who would lead the way in the founding of Charles Towne, South Carolina. Seventeenth Century England and it's West Indies Island of Barbados are the backdrop for this new historical novel For God and King.

Many of the English nobles and gentry classes that supported King Charles I worked secretly and tirelessly for years to restore his son and heir -Charles Stewart. They led lives of loyalty, honor, goodness, and devotion to God.

The novel is filled with 'historical sidebars' featuring facts and figures, drawings, pictures, and copies of art work that reveal truths about this historical period largely ignored by historians.
