Why I Wrote "Secrets From The Street"

After years as an Industrial Manufacturers Rep it became obvious a book was needed to share my knowledge with both the rep and the manufacturer. My book was created over a ten year time frame, continually updated, and went to press in 2011.

For The Independent Sales Rep;
At age 26, I took the leap as a one man independent rep. I learned through trial and error, and grew to a multi rep agency. If I knew in my early years what I know now success would have been much quicker. Maybe "no pain no gain" was necessary in those years, but with this book your promise as an independent rep will be greatly enhanced. It's true reading my book may give pause to going out on your own, however, you need to know what to expect, and exactly what it's going to take to make it. In crucial decisions I plead with the reader to abide-by my "take it to the bank" experiences. What I've written is "the way it is." No pomp, or empty promises.

This $16.95 book is the only thing to buy, I'm not promoting investment or additional instruction. If you're seriously considering being a manufacturers rep you should know what I know. The ratio of success to failure will be greatly improved if you do.

If you're planning to use independent manufactures reps to market your products, reading my book ($16.95), is a minimal investment in time and money; you don't need expensive alternatives. I get to the point, with precepts I know work. Once you understand and apply my conditions-for-success, you will create solid working relationship with reps. From there, integrity, product, and manufacturing know-how is all you need. If you're just testing a product - but don't plan to stay the course - you'll waste time and money and not get the market impressions you're seeking. Be committed, don't deviate from the practices I emphasize and you'll secure hard working reps, whether rookies or multi-man agencies. Anything less will self destruct. I know, I've had strong relationships with manufacturers I swear by.
