Found in Grandma’s attic, the story of a white lace Christmas tree and all her beloved animal friends.
While living in the Boston area during a winter of record snowfalls, the author was inspired to write this charming children’s Christmas story. Her manuscripts, filed away and lost for over forty years, resurfaced recently in her attic in Atlanta. Raised in the mid-west (a graduate of the University of Michigan), the author set her story in Ohio where she lived as a child. Her tale evokes simpler times, while being combined with delightful illustrations by artist Wayland Moore, creating a story and vision from the heart. Understanding what’s important in our lives is just as relevant today as it was years ago.
