The Wily Place

In this thriller about deception, global warming, and coming of age, Bob Smith, 26, never dreamed that the two men who barged into his house and the beautiful woman who seduced him would lead him into an intrigue that would seriously challenge his otherwise rudderless life.

Tapped to be a spy, he is moved quickly from training to tailing Howard Wyn, a retired bull of a government agent bent on transporting a half-ton of nuclear material from Newfoundland to an unnamed country in Africa. When it becomes clear that it's the same country where Bob's father disappeared a dozen years ago, Bob realizes he's part of a plot engineered by someone with a ruthless private agenda to take over an untapped water source beneath Lake Chad.

Accompanied by veteran agent Jack Stone, Bob confronts the dangerous reality of his new life in the middle of the Lake before a final fiery rendezvous in the Chad desert.
