"George Gisser has six sons and one kangaroo! His sons are real, but the kangaroo was in his head until now!" —The Bergen Record

"COME ON,GET KAPPY!" —The Rockland Magazine

"Violence is easy. Happy is hard—-and in short supply. That's what George Gisser concluded when he sought positive , pleasant cartoon characters for his six young sons on TV and in books. When he found none, the Monsey, N.Y. resident came up with his own: "Happy Kappy the Flying Kangaroo". Kappy uses his heavy tail to fly, by furiously spinning its tip. "Kids saw Kappy turning his disadvantage into a unique advantage," says Gisser. "He can fly all over the world and make friends wherever he goes."

Author, George H. Gisser has delivered this wonderful first book, for all the world's children (and adults too), beginning the "Flying Adventure Series" of "Happy Kappy-The Flying Kangaroo." (Who couldn't hop!)

Kappy is a sad young Kangaroo, born with an oversized tail that weighs him down, preventing him from hopping like ordinary kangaroos.

Viewed as "different" by others, he is taunted until he learns how to use his tail as a helicopter propeller. Candy and Kimmy, twin koalas, befriend Kappy, escorting him to many exotic locations, to meet their closest friends and learn about what they couldn't do 'without their tails".

Children get to join Kappy, experiencing his adventures, and become entrenched within their imaginations. The koalas encourage Kappy to have hope and belief that his tail is very important, and will someday, maybe become useful too.

The colorful, exciting illustrations teaches children many important life lessons, especially being open minded towards others, sharing, success, travel, adventure and learning.

The ultimate message is delivered in engaging, colorful and sweet story lines, especially for children born different, giving them hope, so they too, can turn their disadvantage into a unique advantage, just like Kappy did.

Exciting, new, positive, and entertaining, the Happy Kappy Family of cartoon characters deliver bright educational messages on every page, expertly designed to entertain, educate, and keep our childrens' attention with feeling of love and acceptance.

Captain George H. Gisser has also completed his joyful animated "flying" short, "It's Kappy Time!", which his grandson, Aden (four years old) keeps on begging, "please Grandpa George, please play it again for me!" See it on-www.kappythekangaroo.com, www.youtube.com/happykappy-theflyingkangaroo.

We wonder, how much of a role did George's Air Force flying experiences play, in bringing to the children of the world "Happy Kappy-The Flying Kangaroo (Who couldn't hop!)
