A Book Abot Chaps

In first-grade language, "chaps" is pronounced "shapes" - and this is a book about (abot) shapes (chaps). It was written and illustrated in 1998 by Emma Mebane who, as a first grader, was new to the world of chaps. What Emma lacked in accuracy she made up with spirit - in her bright, bold representation of eight different chaps, including the carkol, dimind, and scwar. A Book Abot Chaps is published posthumously, and proceeds are used to support charitable purposes.
