Don'T Tell Douglas!

Don't tell Douglas that his grandfather's early years reads like a soap opera set in Minnesota. It has tons of fascinating characters, a wry build-up and devilish clues sprinkled throughout. You could tell Douglas that it's easy-to-read with plenty of laughs and tears however...but don't say that it's poignant. Let's not spoil the surprise.
