Conservative Monica Stevens relocates from Atlanta, GA to California following her divorce and begins a wonderful new life for her and her daughter. Giving up on men, she meets free-spirited Brittney Thompson, and the two hit it off leading to Brittney moving into Monica's beautiful home in the Oakland Hills.
