In Due Time: The Awakening

Derrick Madsen is a gifted athlete with a college sports scholarship in his future; but his real love is martial arts. As a third degree black belt in karate, Derrick has obtained a special 'skill set' at a young age, making him a perfect candidate to be drawn into a centuries-old conspiracy originating in ancient Sumeria. Instilled with the power to travel through time, Derrick is taken to pivotal moments in history to retrieve certain mystical artifacts lost in the distant past. He is soon fighting for his life in a race to obtain the ancient relics before a secret society of warlocks can acquire them for evil purposes. In his travels he meets a beautiful young nurse serving in the Civil War, and a tender romance develops. Separated by time, they desperately correspond across the decades as they struggle to be together forever.
