Crazy I'd Love

Crazy I'd Love is a super-natural love story. Two boys find a skeleton in the Maine woods. But forensic anthropologist Galvin Garrison is stumped. Despite using all his resources, he can neither identify the remains nor can he determine the cause of death. His only clue to solving the mystery is a manuscript; a rough draft of an unfinished novel found with the remains. Desperate, Garrison calls on Dr. Ravenna Huxley. She is the world's foremost forensic grammatologist, an expert at analyzing, for legal purposes, the writings left behind by dead people. However, complicating the investigation is the past that Galvin and Ravenna share together. Years ago, in college, they were stormy lovers. Can passions buried five years in the past be safely resurrected? Dr. Huxley, with reservations, accepts the case, unable to resist the challenge to break new scientific ground.
The manuscript, set in a Des Moines , Iowa of 1969, tells the tale of a hippy private detective's attempt to debunk the "Paul McCartney is dead" hoax that swept the country at the time. As Dr. Huxley dives into the manuscript, her analysis reveals certain psychological subtleties that resonate all too uncomfortably with her own personal past. Cautioned by colleagues, she widens her investigation out into the everyday world. The dangerous love she finds there could either lead to dissolution or to the realization of her highest aspirations.
