The Devil Is My Co-Pilot

Jake is not a particularly brave man. After his mistakes begin to pile up, he packs up his hybrid car, sneaks a cowardly goodbye note into his boyfriend's pocket, and sets off for a new life.

At least that was the plan. He soon finds the journey down America's highways is not the romantic fable it was cracked up to be. After the road home is cut off by a massive terrorist attack, Jake is caught up in the ensuing panic that sweeps over the nation.

Now, with a pair of stranded hitchhikers in tow, Jake has no choice but to venture ever further up the road leading north. A road blocked by criminals, corrupt authorities, and an evil deep in the redwood forests of Oregon that could be the end of them all.
