The Stars Were Aligned: MY Survival and Journey: Living with a Catastrophic Illness

Four years ago, I survived ARDS {sadly, most do not} My life was forever changed by the four month hospital stay and I live with the results of a shattered life. Glad to be alive, I have recieved a gift. That does not overshadow the many struggles. Recovery is just the beginning. How to cope was a big life change and where to find solice and comfort, my doctor suggested that I write a book. It took a long time to do that as you will learn in the my story. I was the nurse and now I am the patient.
