The Pioneer Princess: Run

This historical romance, mystery, and adventure novel is a story within a story. After losing his wife and then his job, John and his three teenagers are forced to sell their home and move in with their in-laws. John is unable to find work, so his mother-in-law gives them her 200 year-old run down mansion in rural Missouri. The mansion holds a secret they cannot tell anyone. Their lives change dramatically, especially when they find the diary of their great-great-great grandmother, a Bavarian princess. The diary is written in German, but with the help of a computer program, they translate it to English.
