MIA: Missing in Action: 35 months of survival as a guest of Emperor Hirohito

This is the story of one man's time as a Prisoner of War during WWII. He is the navigator on a lone B-17 on a mission to bomb the airfield in Rangoon, Burma. The mission is successful but they are attacked by 24 Japanese "Zeros". They lose the battle and he is forced to parachute into enemy territory from the burning plane. The air battle is over and now the battle to survive begins. This is an account of 35 months of living in Rangoon Central Prison where 35% of the prisoners died.
