Puzzle Pieces of My Soul

This book is a gathering of various writing pieces I did throughout my life until the pregnancy with my daughter in 2012. I was going through an extremely reflective time in my life, using poetry and writing as a way to express and better understand myself. As I unlearn and learnways to free and love myself, I touch on a range of subjects from love, to politics, to spirituality and more.

I healed many wounds through these pieces and knew they needed to be shared.

I give this book as an offering to others, hoping to touch other spirits in intimacy as my own healing is shared with you. The rawness will touch you, as it has touched others. Let love in as you read how I learned to love myself in between these lines.

*Special Note: This book is a flawed version and the only version of this book. There are a few typos and grammatical "errors" I discovered after publishing and was going to fix them in order to make a second "corrected" edition. Upon reflection, I have decided against doing so and instead am keeping it flawed as I felt liberated from the typical "perfect author" box we can place ourselves in because of society. To me, it is not about being perfect to someone else's standards, but about being authentic and still loving ourselves because of it. By keeping its "flaws", I celebrate my own and maybe by me doing so, others will do the same.
