Hybrid Zone Recognition

For almost forty years, the government has succeeded in convincing the public that all research related to human animal hybrids has been terminated. Macy Greer knows different. She is the lead scientist conducting the forbidden but ongoing research for the very agency responsible for the "termination."
Recent changes in the agency's policies towards the hybrids have left Macy wary of the government's intentions. As the project draws to a close, Macy must choose which direction she will take. Turn over her research and abandon the hybrids or take a stand against the government. Both have serious consequences.
Before Macy can act, she is abruptly plunged into a world more populated with hybrids than she knew, and none of them are captives of the government. Still reeling from that revelation, she is even more stunned to realize that she has become a target of rival hybrid groups. As their battle for her draws her ever deeper into their world, Macy is forced on a journey of self-discovery that ultimately leads her to decide what in life is worth fighting for.
