In 2008, Sandy went to Florida and photographed a luminous, pulsating orb in Cassadaga. This physical evidence of an otherworldly entity catapulted the author into a personal search for truth. After returning home to Charlotte, NC, Sandy joined a local paranormal group. She spent the next two years attending classes, learning the technique of ghost hunting.
