The Threshold

The unholy shadow of the Inominata, a demonic organization of assassins, looms large over New York City. Out of an opulent Queens loft overlooking the East River, Alicea locates targets on their behalf. Youthful in appearance, she is over one hundred fifty years old; doomed to spend her immortal life trapped in their service.
But when she unexpectedly finds herself enamored with the organizations latest target, NYPD detective Eric Noble, her life is forever changed. Delving into his past, she finds in him a tragic and lonely soul much like herself, most undeserving of his fate. Defying her masters, she gambles with her own life in an attempt to save his.
But her intentions are soon discovered, and Noble's time is running out as her estranged lover, an undead crime lord with a ruthless crew of immortal thugs at his command, is tasked by the organization to kill the detective. But who is Eric Noble really? And why would someone call on such powerful entities to dispatch him? Is he really just a man, or something infinitely more elemental?
The Threshold follows Eric and Alicea down the difficult roads they face on their way to each other. She will risk everything to get to him, and their only chance to survive may be the dormant forces that he unknowingly holds within his psyche. An entire city will be thrown into the path of a supernatural conflict that may very well reduce it to ashes.
