A Tale of Two Cheeses: How Boss Rat Became King

A civil war between Leopoldville and Wolftown threatened the rats' cheese supply. In order to feed his hungry crew, Boss Rat, Prince of Pirates Under Stormy Mountain, a cunning trickster and master of disguise needed to intercede to end the war.

This story contains all the essential elements. It's got pirates, jousting princes, warrior puppies and battling cats, failed castle attacks and dungeons. It's got snow leopards and wolves, battle tricks and traps. But mostly, it's got rats.

The book includes 46 pages of text along with 30 pages of full color, original artwork. While the story is written with an adult sense of humor, the chapter-based story line is suitable for a 5-6 year old. The color picture storyboard follows the plot and is aimed to please even a 2-3 year old. An 8-9 year old may read this on their own.
