Matters of the Heart: A Cancer Journey

Carol Fore Injaychock was raised a Christian, always believing in the heavenly afterlife. But over time she had developed questions--streets of gold? Angels with wings? What was Heaven, and was she really guaranteed a place beyond its eternal gates? And if Heaven was so wonderful, why was she so afraid to go there? A breast cancer diagnosis just before her 45th birthday forced her to speed up receiving some much-needed answers. Thus began a yearlong journey that took her to a place of much reflection and discussion with God. A journey that made her realize she doubted as many things as she believed. "Matters of the Heart" chronicles the physical, emotional and spiritual travels down a dark path that she would not wish on anyone, but today is grateful to have the insight and inner peace she's gained from the experience.
