Atlas Poetica 15: Journal of Poetry of Place in Contemporary Tanka

Atlas Poetica 15 presents two dozen pentaptychs: sequences of five tanka. These short sequences, some by single authors, and some by collaborations, show the capabilities of the short sequence. Sets of five lend themselves to tanka, capitalizing on the strengths and flexibility of the pentafid form to expand it. In addition, there are individual tanka, tanka prose, and letters to the editor in the continuing ATPO's tradition of publishing tanka, waka, kyoka, and gogyoshi in both innovative and traditional forms.
