Crying Over Hair

Some people have bad hair days. And then there's Jane, who has a bad hair life.

Jane is plain, shorter than average, and looks younger than her age. Growing up in the 1940s, her tomboy ways get her in trouble. Just before starting high school, she finally embraces being a girl. Imagine her surprise when the sexiest boy in the neighborhood shows up on her doorstep. It isn't until after Jane is married that she learns the real reason why her husband proposed. She can deal with the labor pains to have children, but what about that pain in another place caused by those bosses from hell.

Jane's adventures are intertwined with unpredictable outcomes from her hair being cut, styled, dyed, and permanent waved.

Good thing she has a sense of humor.
