The End of Mine

Simion, the world's second most wealthy person, is on a quest to derail the catastrophic effects of global warming by bringing carbon emissions down to zero within 50 years. From traveling wave reactors, to jet stream wind farming, prominent renewable energy scientist provide promising solutions, but they all fall short of producing clean energy at a cost lower than burning coal.

Determined to obtain Simion's funding, a renewable energy scientist discovers a reclusive economist who provides a method to make green energy economically viable, from which a new sustainable economy emerges. With such economic principles as wealth equality, the nation soon rallies to back the new economic blueprint.

Desperate to preserve its own self-interest, rogue elements inside the government engage in clandestine tactics to derail the movement, all the while, China plots to emerge as the world's new superpower.
