Where The Blacktop Ends

Is biographical fiction based in part on the Childhood, and Vietnam tour, of John Mizell. It's the story of a life, led at the edges of what we call, society, to a man that was death's friend, in times of war, and peace. The strange, bloody, funny, tragic, and amazing days that saw him grow from a persecuted, aphonic child on dirt roads in a town with no name in Southern Alabama, to a married man in a violent Vietnam making a last stand against overwhelming odds to save his young, beautiful, and affluent French-Vietnamese wife.
