Berry Gnomes And the Big Berry Tale, written and illustrated by Robert and Devon Steele, is the story of a group of Berry Gnomes who leave their small village in search of food and stumble upon the largest berry they have ever seen. There is only one problem, how will they get the berry down? Once their first try to obtain the berry falls short, all but one determined little gnome head back for home. Unwilling to give up, the little gnome utilizes very creative and unique ways to try to get the berry down. Despite the failure of his initial attempts, the little gnome discovers the unlikely solution through his own determination and ingenuity. The moral of this story shows us that determination and persistence when focused toward our goals will help us reach even the largest of berries.
