23 Stops of Subway Line 7

In 1833, Utagawa Hiroshige created the 53 stations of the Tokaido. It was a series of woodblock prints celebrating a famous road running from Edo (Tokyo) to Kyoto. Each print portrayed a unique place, people or event along one of the road's 53 stops.

In a modern reflection on Hiroshige's work, The 23 Stops of Subway Line 7 takes the reader along a high-speed journey where each stop unfolds a new tale born of the experiences, impressions, or whims or the author woven together to produce a journey not soon to be forgotten.
