Poets' America

Poets' America is an anthology of poems by thirteen poets of diverse races, genders, sexualities and classes from Baltimore, MD; Washington, D.C.; New York, NY and Edinburgh, Scotland who reflect on politics during President Barack Obama's second inauguration. In the anthology, the authors become 'inaugural poets' as they critique important socio-political issues within contemporary society. These inaugural poems give voice to an alternative truth about life in America.
