My mother taught me to be quiet but Jesus gave me my voice back

A real life story of how the lord changed my life and delivered me from a painful past that was once my life, and how I rose above the unspeakable abuse and dysfunction I endured as a child. The molestation, incest, beatings, drugs, marriages, affairs and the abortion that nearly destroyed me, I became so lost in myself. I didn't know who I was or where I was going in my life. Turns out I wasn't the only one trying to figure out my purpose in life. It appears throughout my life I had developed alters, 9 of them to be exact. They call it D.I.D. better known as multiple personality disorder.
Surviving D.I.D. has had its challenges. As I once hated my disorder I learned to be thankful for each of them. As I share my secrets long hidden, I remember to graciously thank my lord and savior Jesus Christ for doing just that. Saving me from my past, saving me from myself. It's my disorder, my Alters that saved me too. They affected my life in positive ways not just bad and how they've grown. This is my story of becoming new, re born, of becoming the wife, mother, friend and most importantly the Christian woman who is finding her way back to one person in love with God.
