Kathleen the War Years

US President Roosevelt provided American aid to the Allies starting April 1941-1945 . He sent industrialist Averell Harriman as US Envoy to Churchill and Stalin, and later Ambassador to Russia. Harriman was accompanied by his daughter, Kathleen, on mission during the strategic planning and European decisions. This account provides insights to the American leadership overseas as the war unfolded around them.
