The Scenic Route: A woman rider's colorful journey through life

In 2007, Abby took a solo cross-country trip on her Harley-Davidson Softail. Leaving New Hampshire in July, she rode across the country with a laptop in the saddlebag so she could write a blog along the way. Riding and writing her way west along the northern route to the Pacific Ocean and then back a more southerly route, Abby covered over 8,000 miles in 23 days.

When Abby decided to write the book, she felt that there was a more important story to tell leading up to the big trip. Men and women alike will enjoy the story of a woman's struggles in the biker culture of the 1980s and eventually pulling herself out of a dangerous relationship, drugs and alcohol.
