A Patch Of Blue

After Carrie Sinclair's husband betrays her, she flees halfway around the world to hole up in the remote Fiji islands. But what was supposed to be two weeks of solace quickly changes when on the way back from one of the outer islands, Carrie falls overboard and is left behind. Exhausted and nearly done in, she finally makes it to an uninhabited island, where she spends the next two years alone, eking out her survival. When rescue finally occurs, it brings with it much more than release from the island.
