Secrets of a Walking Stick

This is a delightful collection of short stories, largely about the author's life "In the Village" and elsewhere, as viewed through the eyes of a collection of walking sticks (plus the odd umbrella) that inhabit an umbrella stand in a cottage in the seaside village of St Francis Bay in the Eastern Cape in South Africa.
