The Trouble with Barry

""The Trouble with Barry"" is a picture book about an adventurous cat who leaves his friend Oscar every full moon to travel. Oscar imagines what Barry gets up to when he is away.

The Trouble with Barry is, one day he leaves home and does not return, leaving Oscar to wonder how far Barry has travelled and what adventures he is on.

The book is based on Joanne's cat, Barry, who leaves frequently for adventures for weeks at a time. He always returns (via Joanne's husband's taxi) to be greeted with love, which begs the question why does he leave, and what does he get up to?
