Things My Mother Taught Me

This is a playful, tongue-in-cheek me of the things our mothers try to teach us as we pass through life. The author’s mother had her own way of dispensing this advice – always with a touch of wry humour.

The advice reflects the age-old wisdom of all mothers, in the face of our ever changing world. The art work portrays animals alongside human companions, which reflects the author’s/illustrator’s belief that friends can be found in the most unlikely places, a belief also held by her mother.
