'The Daisy Chain' by Diane Guntrip is the sequel to 'Dear H'. It is written to appeal to girls of 13 - 15+ years.

Amanda begins her Vocal Studies as a boarder at the famous St Celia's Academy of Music. She is now 14 and is still writing in her diary to 'H' and sharing her intimate thoughts and feelings with her imaginary friend.

She is determined to begin an anti-bullying group called the Daisy Chain and is spurred on in her efforts by the characters she meets at the Academy.

Who are Immie and Simon and why does Gillie play such an important role in the formation of the Daisy Chain group? Why does Tilly have to leave the Academy? What was Casandra's dreadful downfall? Is there a reason for Jessica's behaviour?

As well as meeting new characters with their own stories to tell, we also hear of previous characters, some who have blossomed and others who have not!

This is a great book to be used as a discussion tool in schools as well as being a fantastic read.
