Secrets Above: Book 1 of the Secrets Series

Amelia lives in an underground world created ninety years ago when a virus swept across the earth, killing nearly all of humanity. Her home, Terra Convex, is ruled by oppression, and lack of individuality. Leadership makes every decision for its inhabitants. The government banned creativity so that the citizens would remain under their control. Curiosity and questions are forbidden. Still, Amelia feels an ache in her soul for something more than the tasteless food and drab colors of this underground world.

When Amelia finds a window to the world above, she soon realizes that there could be more to life. She knows she must not tell anyone about the window, but she cannot stay away. When Amelia isn't with her two closest friends, Darcius and Maclin, she is laying under the window imagining life above ground.

One day, Amelia witnesses something above that frightens her at first. She flees the tiny room. When she returns the next day, there is something on the window that rattles her to her core. What does it mean though? She knows she must find the truth to the secrets above.
