Memphis: Sweet, Spicy & a Little Greasy

“I have always wanted to do a three-day fire and bring together a group of chefs and artisans for a camp-type experience in a secluded area, build a fire and cook threeor four days’ meals off that fire. The idea was for people to camp three days and stay on the property. We would serve breakfast, lunch and dinner each day, and then each guest would write a story about it. To make it work for ArtsMemphis, we changed it up but we still had the communal lighting of the fire, the dinner and then the brunch.”
